Can anyone shed a bit of light on some of the plot of this film? Basically, I didn't really get how Smiley managed to work out who the mole was. I know it has something to do Ricky Parr's trip to, and message from, Paris, but missed exactly how the trap worked.
I thought it was a really classy film, which would probably be worth a second viewing. Will definitely read the book...

As well as the book, don't forget the original film. It was available on youtube in full until the new film was released. I guess the fucking lawyers have been at it again.
Can't wait to watch the current film :bounce:
