Title: [Soft Rush][E6 6a][Black Rocks]
Post by: Bonjoy on September 12, 2011, 01:08:21 pm
Did another new one at Black Rocks on Sat. It climbs the mini Meshuga type feature across the gully to the left of Meshuga. Nearly posted in new problems section, it straddles the route/highball fence. Maybe only E5, I practiced on a rope so I've kind of lost perspective on how it would feel OS without pads. Really good anyway and pretty safe as at about highball 6c+ with cunning paddage. As you can see on the pic I used a back rope between cams to help contruct a flattish landing on otherwise slopey ground. The same effect could be achieved without ropes and gear if you had more pads to stack and someone at the base to hold up the pile.
