Good effort Dan. Is this the hardest piece of climbing in the Peak District?
And it feels like it should be pretty safe at 8B+ unless easier beta is found for the crux. I’ve also got pics of the holds so if they ever change i’ll know. For me personally it has been the hardest thing i’ve ever done, but much of that has been mental and i didn’t have much margin when i did it yesterday, i snatched and rattled my way up it and made far too much noise.

Wad. Saw tweet, but wasn't sure what.
-
Good skills that man, looks suitably beastly.
-
Thread title should have been 'Could this be Britain's in the Peak first 8c?'
Spent a day there with Dan back in July and was very impressed with the quality and the difficulty. And he topped it out!!! Chapeau.

:great: Good work! Liking the diary excerpt on the blog.

What DAVE said..

this does look truly ridiculous. neither me or dave could do it, which should tell you something.

Love the photo. Reminds me of the shot in TPOC of Ben on the Hubble undercuts TRYING REALLY HARD.

Dr Ian Dunbar. There's got to be Malcolm Smith related joke in there from someone suitably TPOC.

I was hoping that would be a website about tapioca.

The photo's style reminds me of a Si O'Connor effort - it just needs an Atlantic storm in the background. As for the problem: Gaskins-esque, and there can be no higher praise. As the crag itself seems to be a secret, can someone at least tell me the rock type? Likes like limestone - like someone's tipped Pleasy Vale over by 45 degrees.
-
Likes like limestone, climbs like limestone, chances are...

Its a limestone cove, near a badger set, in quite a deep dale.

That's the badger.
