thinking of going here tomorrow if anyone has any ideas about the conditions
-
Anyone been up to Rowtor recently/know what conditions are like there?
-
Ended up at Southern grit yesterday as east and west under snow. Rowtor was mostly in good nick - no snow on the ground or rocks, just a bit of frost on some of the top outs. I'm pretty sure cratcliffe and robin hood stride were also devoid of any snow. It did begin to snow lightly as we left in the evening though...

Isn't access denied at the moment?
-
Nope. It's restricted/ sensitive, Short Sean's area being a rather tender spot from what I can gather...
-
Access has not been denied in living memory as far as I'm aware. Presume you mean 'Eagle' tor.

I thought access denied was at West nab?

Access isn't denied but the chicken woman is playing up again and she can watch the rocks from her house. Hence it's best to avoid the problems near the bit of land she is using: stuff right of Short Shauns isnt that great anyhow. If in Short Shaun's area just keep a low profile.... ninja boulder.
