not really beta, more directions but not sure where else to post
anyone direct me to whereabouts this problem is or failing that anyone got a copy of the topo?
climbed quite a lot of the obvious stuff up there but nothing really stood out to me as seeming 7c+
cheers
Matt

It used to be obvious by having "Access Denied" painted on it.

It's ages (probably 15 or 20 years!) since I was last there but my memory is that it is in the left side of the main boulder field and faces away from the road. Dead obvious really, it's certainly not hidden away.

13 years Panton - we went with Durkin and Wood for some photos for something.
A brilliant problem with classic status (and Access Denied) written all over it. I seem to remember the potential of another line going direct up the center to the high point of the boulder (not that is very high!).

I remember now - it was an article on Yorkshire grit bouldering in Climber mag. Mr Durkin has been staying over at our house of late - he's working on a building job in Caernarfon.
(apologies for thread hijack)

It's behind the main collection of boulders at the summit, as said has access denied painted on one side of the boulder. The traverse is usually above a bog too, not sure on what the conditions would be like with the recent heavy showers, but maybe a bit warm for hanging those slopers at this time of year!
