Title: mervyn stutter - Ashover
Post by: Ashover Bear on June 17, 2011, 02:30:08 pm: I'm trying to find out how the mervyn stutter boulder in Ashover got it's name and how long it has been known as that. Any ideas?

There's only one recorded problem on it, called Mervyn Stutter, so we called the boulder Mervyn Stutter for ease. The boulder may have another name as well.

Post by: Bonjoy on June 17, 2011, 06:52:38 pm: I called the place Mervyn Stutter, after a poster i saw in Ashover advertising the appearance of said comedian at a local venue. No sensible reason, the name just amused me at the time. I'd love to know where Nuda's Tartan got its name.
