Title: Kilnsey/Gordale/Malham Van Doss?

Any recommendations for quiet, sunny spots in't Dales, ideally near the big  sport venues.  :great:

For after Kilnsey I usually sleep just off the road on the way to Malham from Arncliffe.  After a bit of a steep climb out of Arncliffe you eventually get to a flat open grassy area near a cattle grid where you can pull 20-30ft off the road.  The road is very quiet at night.  It was an amazing place to wake up on Sunday morning just gone.  Sitting on my deck chair reading the paper and having a coffee in the sun before rolling back down into Kilnsey!

Did you happen to take a sneaky peek down the hill and see if Yew Cogar was Dry?  :please: Thanks

No sorry, I should have done though.  I assummed it would be mainly dry but would have too many wet patches after the rain earlier in the week.
