Title: Brownstones
Post by: Serpico on March 22, 2011, 12:48:33 pm
Anybody know the current height of the pool? I was thinking of going down and doing my endless figure of eight circuit on the pool wall, but I get quite nervous when shallow water bouldering.

Looking for a trip out to brownstones this weekend anyone know what the conditions are like up there at the moment?

Talking of traversey stuff, anyone care to offer a French grade for the Chimney buttress traverse, both for individual sections and for the whole thing (Chimney buttress + outside of prow + inside of prow)?

Jdobo - most of Brownstones is quite fast drying, so if its sunny or windy, there will be dry rock.

It has good rests but some crux bits. I've only linked chimney to outside face and would be tempted to say F7a or maybe with a plus. Chimney on its own to end bridged in first big corner 6b+ or 6c.
