hey guys had a quick search and couldnt find a similar topic but does anyone know of a good place to buy a good reasonably priced (around £30-50) weights vest. Preferably velcro straps. Cheers

The site search isn't so hot, you should use Google to do a site specific search (http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/5-ways-to-do-a-site-specific-search-within-any-website/)
Try this thread (http://ukbouldering.com/board/index.php?topic=13642.0) and this one (http://ukbouldering.com/board/index.php?topic=15236.0) for starters.

;D I did in fact think about trying to gain weight and then lose it before hard climbing but due to my metabolism I simply cant gain weight easily
-
Yeh im the same, if i take time off from climbing, i eat less and lose weight. When im climbing its bizarre the volume of what i can consume. Bummer eh! ;) I do think hammering the protein shakes is a good thing, i def feel heavier on them, then lay of them for a bit and up goes the grade.

you obviously are not trying hard enough to gain weight and as for metabolism the fatter you are the higher it is.i.e. the more you've got to move the more energy it takes.which will in increase your metabolic rate.
thin people huh you just don't eat.

£50 worth of any pie won't put much weight on - unless you are suggesting a sponsorship deal...
