Title: Arco/Lake Garda Bouldering?
Post by: RichK on July 29, 2010, 11:50:21 am
Off to Italy on a family holiday in a couple of weeks.

Staying around Lake Garda which looks to be not to far from Arco.

Keen to get a little exercise and wondering if there is any good bouldering or low level traversing that will be tolerable in heat :-\

I'll be without a mat so nothing too highball.

Any suggestions welcomed

Riva is at the far end or the lake, and from there Arco is around 20mins by bicycle!

It was raining when I went for an afternoon so I wandered over to the massive covered outdoor wall, plenty of routes and boulder probs there, ask nicely and they will let you have a go.

As for proper bouldering, im sure there is loads, ask for a topo at the big outdoors shop in Arco.

There's a reasonable amount to do just over the road from the campsite at Arco.
I think you need a mat to get the best out of it tho.
