Title: new macbook: need some programs

just bought a macbook

looking at doing some video editting an wondering if anyone has any suggestions on progammes to use and where i can download them
cant be bothered payin full whack for them
also while im askin a copy of office or iworks would be good :)

ummm... just a guess, but....  final cut pro, any torrent site  :shrug:

it's free.

latest version of imovie (bundled with your os) will be fine for someone starting out in editing.

thanks for the open office

but as for imovie
im after something more technical, only certain movie files can be edited on it.

mpeg streamclip wil convert most movie files to a useful codec and it is free.
