Title: Somewhere to stay near Yorkshire lime?
Post by: Paul B on April 27, 2010, 11:10:16 am
I've been looking for somewhere to stay near Malham/Kilnsey to make a long weekend trip up there. Currently we don't have a tent/cooker etc. so the campsite is out.
Has anybody stayed anywhere worth a punt? It seems like YHA or slightly overpriced pubs from what I can see.
Thanks

What you need is some sort of motorised habitation module.

Ask Sam and Lu. Think they've booked somewhere in the village.

I believe its sold/ for sale. Camper vans are, like, soooo 2009.

I've stayed in this place:

It's right in the centre of Malham - around £35 ppn.  Really good breakfasts (award winning in fact - it's all in the sausage!) and friendly staff - they were always happy to fill my huge thermos with filter coffee every morning etc.  Also an honesty bar stocked with bottles of Copper Dragon.

I'm guessing Sam's had to organise a long-term let.....that would be justified.  ;)
