Title: ingrowing toenail???

hey guys, ive been suffering from a ingrown toenail for a few months now and the time has finally come to get it removed, anyone here had this done and know how long i will be unable to boulder for?

I had it done when i was younger i didn't climb then but i reckon you will be right in a week max. you will just have to be careful wearing tight boots when it grows back as it is possible it will just end up reoccurring. unless there taking the root out and then it wont grow back. you can get just a slither taken off at the docs which isn't as drastic and painfull as the whole thing. good luck!

I reckon you'll need longer than a week off.  I decided not to have mine done as I heard there was a seriously long recovery time for it.  The two people I know who have had it done struggled to get anything except big, baggy trainers on for about a month afterwards.  So for relatively tight climbing shoes I was looking at a couple of months off.  :(
