I've been climbing in evolv pontas lace ups and I've worn through the rubber on the left toe and the right inside edge. The holes are more like splits in the rubber and are about 1-2 cm long. The shoes were bought around October(I think) and I've given them pretty standard use (3-4 times a week). I'm a bit gutted they haven't lasted longer and I won't be able to buy a new pair for a few weeks. Is this pretty standard wear or should I try and get a replacement pair? I'm not interested in shafting evolv or the shop I bought the shoes from but I'm broke until my next student installment and I don't want to go to font with a shit pair of shoes.
Or is it time for superglue. :-\

If you're climbing 4 times a week (esp indoors), 6 months isn't too bad a lifetime in my opinion.

super glue it is then!
:boohoo:

Try wetsuit or some other flexible glue. Super glue just won't cut it.
It seems like normal wear to me. Textured walls can really destroy boots if you drag your flagging foot when rocking over etc.
You were always going to be taking a shit pair of boots to Font, you bought evolvs ;D

But I thought that if I wore evolvs and prana i'd climb hard problems and women would love me!
