Anyone have a name for these? I've seen a few people wearing them and they seem quite good. Discontinued 5.10 line?

T-rocks.
Quite a stiff boot if I remember rightly? Weird split down the center of the heel.

I seem to recall they were the replacements for the Newtons. And lasted all of a year or so in production.

They weren't a replacement for the newtons. They replaced the former fibreglass midsoled "Mesa's" and were in production for longer than a year, possibly 3-4years. They are super stiff, great edging boot.....still the choice of many devotees.

Bugger... I think I am going senile! I knew that, I just said Newtons instead!
