Title: screw-on footholds
Post by: Three Nine on September 15, 2009, 09:53:51 am
hi, can anyone recommend some good screw on footholds for a 45deg board? I have used the metollius screw-ons in the past but was thinking of branching out..

IIRC Rich Simpson recommended glueing 2p coins.

Small pieces of wood ?

SLAP holds foot jibs are fantastic.  Contact Dylan on here.

I agree, hot chips are very good.  Careful screwing them in though, get the angle of the screw right or you'll break em.

Buy a broom handle and saw off various sized foot disks and cut them at various bisections to create little edges.  These will have no friction and will promote brutal body tension to use them!

I know someone who driled through coins and screwed them on. Apparently they worked very well - loads of tension needed to keep feet on.
