looking at a new system to finally replace my existing one, built all my pc's over the years and finally fed up of the rip off prices for postage to N.Ireland (£25 p+p for a graphics card for example)
read good things about some of the Mesh systems but they seem to have a bad track record being on Watchdog etc, anyone any experience of them, or advise a good alternative, £600 would be the max for a good allrounder, bit of games (Half Life 2 at the minute), Solidworks and getting into a bit of crap video editing.

I had a MESH system years back, no problems. Great PC.
But just build your own, dead easy, great fun and saves dosh.

Is this compatible but cheaper? (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLACK-SOPRANO-PC-PHENOM-II-955-AM3-750GB-4GB-ATI-4850_W0QQitemZ110428231740QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Computing_DesktopPCs?hash=item19b609183c&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14)
Seems it to me bar the software (who needs that anyway?) but i'm well out of the loop in pc specs.

I bought 24 Mesh bare bones PC's to build a parallel cluster 3 years ago. They're on 24-7 and I've only had 4 go wrong in that time - and those have only been chip fan failures (easily fixed) - which is not surprising given the time they are on etc...
Havnt a clue about their tech support etc.. but I've been perfectly happy with them,
Tom

If you were thinking about getting a laptop games machine, check this one out. It's a lot of machine for the money.
