This one puzzles me - if you're going to go to the trouble of signing up, you'd think you have something to say.
Ok, what I'm going to do is give it a month from now for people to post with their registered username, and then I'll delete any unused profiles from the forum. That way, it cuts all the unused members from the memberlist and frees up names for other people to use.

I think a lot of people just like to read. Is there a way of seeing how often these people visit?

They can still read without a userid - I'd have to check server logs to get the full stats on that really, but having said that it is about time I got my server logs down again anyway.....

Can I also just point out that there are good reasons for signing up rather than just lurkin:
- You can post and vote in polls
- It's much easier to see which are new posts
- You can use the private messaging system to keep in touch with your mates (especially handy if you can't use MSM, etc at work)
- You can choose from one of several board styles instead of just the bog-standard one you see now.
