Title: Dragon's, but not as you know it!

It may be chuffing gear, but it's super sexy, and they look like they're gonna be good! DMM are producing a single stem, twin axle, double dyneema sling camming device, which they've named the Dragon (http://www.dmmclimbing.com/news.asp?nid=216&ngroup=1).

I would understand these better if you were to say why they were better than camalots or tech friends.

Same overall range, better camming angle, and lighter. Happy now?

better camming angle

Better as in wider range, or better as in better holding power?

Holding power as far as I'm aware. I think the "optimum" for holding is 13.something and camalots are 14 degrees. The new dragons have the 13.something degree camming angle with the wide range of the camalot in a lighter weight package.

Sounds good.

13.75 degrees, I believe Camalots are about 14.5 (I have heard they're not a constant camming angle, which would be weird if true)

13.75 is the same as WC Friends?

Would be wierd in Ripalots tm if cam angle wasn't constant.
