I'm after some Compact Flash cards 512 mb and under in size. Anyone got any they don't want or know where I can get some from?
Cheers
David

Why 512? I have one, but use it occasionally. Will trade for a larger one?

Cheers Dave, but last time I bought a CF card on fleabay it was f**cked. I reckon it was a bad copy so I don't buy stuff like that any more other than from a main dealer. And you just can't get low capacity CF cards anymore hence the request. In fact I was told that the smallest CF any manucaturer is making now is 2gb.
I've been given a couple of 64mb ones since I stuck this post up :). So any 32mb, 64mb, 128mb, 256 mb card are welcome. Most people just bin cards this size but I can recycle them.

What do you do, stick 2gb labels on them and get them on ebay? Then buy them yourself?
-
No, but good idea, they are for something where I only need to take 4 small jpegs on each card so 2gig is a tad overkill. I only need 4 more and then that should do it.
-
whatever it is, you should name it 'bullet time'.
-
try harrisons, they probably got a shit load of old stuff like that in the back.
-
unbranded 512Mb (http://www.totalpda.co.uk/+/512MB-Compact-Flash-Card.4201.html) likely as good a punt as from fleabay though.

Tried Harrisons Dave but nothing doing. Looks like I'll have to order some from tinterweb. The ones you pointed me at Mr Line are out of stock.
I'll have a google later, just thought somebody may have some odds 'n ends kicking around in exchange for a pint.

Ooops, thought they were in when I found them, apologies.

No worries. It's funny but it's nearly as cheap to buy 1gb cards than the smaller ones that most people throw away.
-
16mb too small?
if not email me your adress and ill chuck it in the post.
