A rope bag full of gear had been left at the Tor this afternoon. Let me know and we can arrange it's return.

I had a similar idea in mind this morning - and was halfway through searching for 'bag of drugs' on google images when someone came into my office and saw what I was doing... :-\

the bag andy found only contained a bob o' phet.

Whoever owns this kit must either:
A) not climb enough.
B) not lurk on UKB enough.
Could Tor regulars ask around those who they know frequent, but may not come on here. This must be missed by someone, and is too much for me to feel happy about absorbing into my rack as booty.
-
I'm going to start wearing the harness soon. It's better than mine.

Maybe it was filched and then dumped, so the owner has no idea where it ended up. Have you contacted the filth?
-
I very much doubt thieves robbed this stuff and happened to dump it in full view in Millers Dale, under The Tor, by pinches wall (where most climbers leave their stuff) with a couple of things taken out of the open bag, and placed next to it.
But maybe.
-
I was not aware of that. Seems unlikely in that case.
-
I believe this bag was there when I arrived at half ten that morning so could have been there overnight or longer!
-
yep - it's mine, just turned the house upside down looking for rope bag, blue rope (ten years old, wear at one end) drws and wc harness, so i guess not going down dale today...
-
Nice one. Although if your harness is a Wild Country then I'll keep the posh Arc'teryx one ;).
-
ah yes, i lost the WC one (at the tor) many years ago, you think i'd know what sort of harness i own, i mean it's not like i never use it :-\
Note to self - 'loose' climbing gear at more obscure crag next time.
