He could have come down and said he'd done it anyway. Typical though innit, as soon as someone does something really good and inspirational, doubting Thomas comes out and acts the cunt.

What it is though is an "awesome fucking achievement" and I don't think anybody has doubted that. This is an article about an inspiring ascent, not about a "failed" onsight.
