Title: Free Standing Campus Board
Post by: Adam Lincoln on April 24, 2009, 10:09:59 pm
I am about to build myself a free standing campus board. Anyone good with structures care to suggest how bit the base will need to be to keep it pretty stable? Will probably also bolt it to my patio for extra stability. Going to use a 8*4 bit of ply. The ply will be bolted on at about should height i guess.

Adam, do you have high ceilings in your  palace?  Might have a solution if so.

If you're bolting it to the patio, are there any building faces/structures you could position it by for stability?

Sounds like it will end up quite tall 13'+ish? Unless you're related to Hervé Villechaize??!!

I do but quite like the idea of it being outside!
