Title: Video problems
Post by: tommytwotone on March 31, 2009, 06:41:05 pm
Hi, hope someone can help me out as I think I've been a bit of a numpty.

Basically, I was 'cleaning up' my laptop the other day by deleting a load of stuff using add/remove programs and I think I've got rid of something that media player needs to be able to play DVDs. I think I might have deleted the Roxio codecs(?)...

Know that's ridiculously vague, just wondering if anyone's had similar or knows where I can acquire what I need to make it work.

Cheers in advance,

TTT

Just download and install K-lite or VLC

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/)

Either will play DVD's. Personally I prefer K-lite (and the Media Player Classic which it uses)
