Title: Running and weight training
Post by: roddersm on January 24, 2009, 07:25:21 pm
What do people think of either running or weight training as a form of training for climbing. I often run for 30 - 50 minutes(once or twice per week) and believe it benefits my climbing indirectly in that it increases my fitness and recovery.

Do other people run or do other aerobic training? If so how much and do they think it benifts their climbing?

Do people use weight training? I know the likes of Malcolm smith and stevie haston were big advocates of weight training? What sort of training do people do with weight and what benifits of any do people find?
