Everything technological of my parents I touch seems to turn to shit. I had just uploaded some evidence (;)) to my laptop and then took the firewire cable out of the port. I tried to turn the mini dv camera on shortly after and it's now not receiving any form of power from a fully charged battery. The camera was subject to a bit of moisture the other day but has been working fine since and I left it out of it's bag at room temperature. Am I likely to need to face the music or is there some basic check or something I can do perhaps?
