Title: Yorkshire Limestone Bouldering
Post by: andy_e on January 12, 2009, 12:35:41 pm
Anybody know of anywhere? Obviously there's Kilnsey but that's fairly limited. I've heard rumours of one or two other places around, but is there anything steep and hard of boulderable height anywhere? Given the amount of rock there must be some somewhere!

Did you ask this before, or is this just Deja Vu? There is Wetherby obviously - very polished, but good for stamina circuits without trashing your skin. Watch out for dog shit if you step / jump off.

Hmmm, I might have asked before but I can't remember. I was revising, and therefore thinking about climbing, and I was wondering if there was anything...

Roche Abbey (near Doncaster)? It's not very high or extensive but there's enough for a nice day'a entertainment.  I remember enjoying Borg and getting far too excited over some crimpy little eliminates.
