Title: Waterproof digi camera / camcorder
Post by: SA Chris on November 10, 2008, 10:46:58 am
Anyone tried out one of theses things? Thinking of upgrading old camcorder (current is about 8 years old), and saw these, look quite fun as an option.

Had one for kayak surfing, they're ok - not amazing or anything, would go for the wide angle version though as the normal one has a very narrow field of view. Think by the time you buy camera, good batteries and memory card you could get something else better for the same ££. I sold it and bought one of these off ebay

so far happy with the results, brought it snorkling and can tuck it in the wetsuit out sponging, had a mate drop one off a first floor balcony onto the edge of a wall and it was unmarked and working fine, tough little camera.
