Title: Ankle Injury - Physio & training again.
Post by: DylanThomas on November 08, 2008, 04:56:14 pm
Earlier in the year I broke my ankle badly in falling 20ft :o. Im doing physio exercise's and circuit training. I still keen to climb (although family are not as yet) are there any ways in which I could help rehabilitate quicker. I was pushing 6b font.

Bouldering 'by proxy' may be a way forward. Just ask Malc if he'll be your climbing twin and you can rip up anything you like till you're healed

I think that if you get the thumbs up from your physio, any climbing that avoids potential impact, ie bouldering or leading) any exercise is good exercice. When I shagged mine (bad sprain) I found doing loads of one leg balancing really helped, but don't know any magic tricks.
