anyhoe got any recommendations for shoes for people with narrow feet? ideally i'd get a pair of girl's shoes but my feet are too big for that! my 5.10 t-rocks have just split at the front so i need a new pair sharpish! :(
-
Andi I would offer to help, but you don't normally like my shoe advice lol.
-
Just get the green 5.10's like everybody else and stop pretending you're special :)
-
I wear the ladies blue velcros and I think they are an 8.5 or maybe an 8 if that is of any use to you? Picked them up from crag x for £40 a while back! They are definitely slightly narrower than the old salmon mens ones.
-
Good knowledge beast, I'll give it a try!

ladies blue velcros
I was going to suggest them, I know a couple fo guys who wear them, some of the Evolv shoes seem to be fairly low volume, so maybe worth checking them out, the rubber is pretty soft on a lot of them though, if that bothers you.
-
The women's katanas go up to 43. Getting a pair could be a challenge though.
-
I got some Evolv Pontas velcro. The fit is perfect for my feet.
shame they cost £70

I, too have narrow feet (low volume) and find that red chili corona vcrs are a very snug fit all round. Pity the quality of the leather is so poor and tends to rip :spank:

Evolv Pontas seems to be a good bet for the narrow of foot in general!? Not for everyone but.....
I find most of the new sportiva shoes don't work for my skinny feet - anyone have any that they find work for them?
-
I too suffer with balerina feet syndrome, and virtually every pair of shoes that I have found to be good has been removed from the market place as unpopular or some other nonsense.
1. Scarpa vision velcros - these fit really well and are a great shoe, sadly unavailable now
2. Scarpa vision lace up - still around and is pretty good fit, get em tight as they stretch
3. Scarpa sphinx? - the lilac ones they had cheap at the works. Felt a bit clumpy out of the box but ace shoeswhen broken in, plenty stiff for edging/ limestone also a good grit shoe too. Don't think these will be coming to the uk anymore.
4. Sportiva Miura - not had any, tried them on quite a few times, think they may work if you get the right size but will be a snug fit
Other than the above 5.10 whites, greens and pinks should fit the bill. I know rock-on at craggy island in guildford have a a fair few pairs of pinks left.
Happy shopping

I've got some of the blue girls version of the Scarpa Booster. Took forever to stretch but they're now very good.
-
Every time I have tried these on, they've never had a size big enough (41.5 or 42), but yes, I think I would like these also.
-
I actually managed to go down a full size from the men's Boosters in the bird's version because they fit my feet better. I think I've got 39s or 39.5s and I normally wear a size 8 trainer. As i say, they've been a bitch to break in but it's worth it.
-
Wow! Small feet or a high pain threshold I think they only go up to 39.
Second the Lilac Scarpas & I also like Testarossas & the blue Katanas.
