Heading out there next week.
Anyone know how much it costs to hire a pad from the campground, and what state they're in?
Wondering if I might be better just taking one with BA as sports equipment.
Cheers

Hiring from the campsite was pretty cheap when I went 4/5 years ago. EUR5 per day IIRC.
The pads that we got were ok but a bit on the small side. They were Mad Rock or Mammut I think and the foam was on the way out. Hopefully those pads will have been replaced in the intervening years but if not they would be completely shot by now :o

I thought I overheard someone saying that the shop in the village was going to start renting pads but I may be mistaken, think the shop details are in the guidebook? Depending on what time of year you're going the campsite may not even be open. I don't think it was open when we were there in November, which is why they were tolerating some people camping in the main car park in their vans.
I can't remember if it was shut because of the time of year or for some other reason, so worth checking.

Thanks for the info.
Seems the flight back is full and I can't take extra luggage anyway, so I'm in the hands of Albarracin pad hire.

Just came back from Albarracin. This place is absolutely amazing !!
You can rent pad in both shop, the prices are the same :
- 5€ per day for the Moon Warrior
- 8€ per day for the Moon Saturn
The pads are in a very good state !
