OFMT has lost a large football size block off the top of the large flake. I think the bit some people used to place a wire in. Some buy placed it yesterday, tugged in wire and off came the block.Same guys on it again today and they are saying its still a little loose around the area it came off. So take care when on it.
Wont affect grade as its all over by then, and you can still get a shake after the crux on the flake jug.

they were placing a wire? WTF? :wank:

Is it necessary to place a wire? (i'm completely unaware where exactly the bolts are on this route)... will someone clarify?
Edit = I can see Dan already has ;D

When i did it i just had about 5 draws off of the next bolt. It is very runout, and think it was bolted for placing a wire.

OFMT? Out Fof My Tree?
The wire is quite often placed cos of the runout as far as i know. I believe young james placed a wire when he did it from what i remember reading on here.

You never really needed the wire, it looks run out but really it's only about 5 moves between clipping and it's slabby climbing on buckets, or at least it used to be.

I never placed the wire. Look at me - I'm a big cahoned run out god. I havent got any wires though, so that may have an influence on my decision, I dont know, I will have to ask the question.
