(Japan putting the fear of god into other Olympic hopefuls by showing that: They're still holding regular climbing comps, even their B-Team is strong (the bulk of the combined comp - still great viewing), and even their video graphics are ahead of the game (bouldering comp - haven't watched the finals but the semis were good))

Footage is proper shoe-cam amateur, but the style and quality of the problems / routes is up with the usual IFSC standard for entertainment, despite M blocs being a bit hard.

Yup was still good. First guy on M4!! Also how tall was that russian lass Anna?? Quite a variance in height in that field...

This is a good un! Nice selection of cool problems despite a bit of imbalance (and disparity between M/F styles). Some exciting moments and the usual thrills and spills.
