I have fine 20/20 vision, but I look beyond physical appearances and don't find the fact that someone has a rare genetic disease a reason to ridicule them, even if their head does resemble their light-shade. Disabled people want and do the same as "normal" people, just the other day I saw some crappy wheelchair version of Strictly come dancing or other.

His dancing/miming on the other hand is a fine and fair target for ridicule (as are all people who post such videos on the net).

Unless there's some kind of backstory I'm not privvy to then there's too much made of that. Looked to me like she'd fully accepted the risk (having tied on in the first place) but was just balking at actually jumping off. A bit like when people bottle the jump on Wings Of Unreason.

Great bit of TV and I think he talks a lot of sense about the disconnect between most of the populous and the 'game' of Westminster. Also interesting how he picks up on the growing gap between rich and poor (something that spawned past times of revolution - c.1900 etc..) - the ruling and (now) middle classes.

I was also impressed by Brands passion and anger... in a way I wish I could get that worked up about politics instead of just apathetically accepting its what it is etc...

I tried again when I took my wife to see a stage production of Flash Dance, but fell asleep halfway through.

I don't think dance really helps much in explaining statistical concepts either (particularly given they rely on text to explain everything anyway!)
