Title: Advice for building a woody
Post by: dave k on June 19, 2004, 05:37:19 pm
I am planning to build a woody in my new house. Has anyone built one on a first floor? I would like some advice on weight bearing. The room has three brick walls and one wooden/plasterboard dividing wall. How much weight will be put on the floor joists/ loft joists? Any advice/ideas will be gratefully received.

theres probably a way of getting all the weight on the walls, depending on how you build it. if you use a combo of wall and ceiling support then i imagine it'll be fine.
