I have a bent finger. Oo-er. And I’ve been meaning to get to cris in London for a physio appointment. It’s my pinky so it hasn’t so far stopped me climbing. But now with the world stopping I wondered if there’s any video climbing physios?
I know a normal nhs physio won’t have a clue. Hence looking for a climbing physio.
Ideas? Names??

Pablo Scorza has advertised on his Instagram that he's doing discounted online consultations during Corona virus. http://pabloscorza.com/online-consultation/

As an NHS physio, I find this pretty irritating. Some private physios will treat you, charge you for it, with very little evidence base or objective benefit; there are also many good ones however.
NHS physios have a clue, thanks, but are often more occupied with dying people at the moment.

Hand specialist I've been to in the past might be able to do something.
Called Michelle and based in Leeds. Quite expensive (initial consultation about £65) but PM if you want her number. Practice is called PhysioX rehab but not sure if she has a website.

The issue with the nhs physios are that it’s hit or miss to get any understanding on the context of the injury and where it comes from. Or any understanding on how to treat it relative to our sport. With no understanding they would and do, typically play the safe approach. No don’t do anything.
It isn’t a criticism of the nhs or your work just that If I found one who understood it would be a miracle. You might be that miracle but chances are we’d never meet.
And yes. You and the nhs have more important things to deal with but so I then reach out on here to look for a private solution.
I had my first Skype with Pablo today. He was knowledgeable and spent an hour looking and virtually prodding and poking my hand and arm. He was patient and quickly got where the issue originated and now has me on some repair exercises and advice on how to train with it. Perfecto. Thx to the person who sent me his info above.
