Anyone got an ascender with a handle they're looking to part with? Something like this https://www.dicksclimbing.com/collections/ascenders-descenders/products/petzl-ascension but not fussy about brand/model specifics.

I think I've got a Kong one (Red; LH?) which I no longer need (as I invested in 2No. sets of Ascensions in 2013 for our 'Honeymoon').

I can dig it out tonight if it's of interest (it's not the most comfortable thing to use for long periods of time)? Send me a message on FB if so.

Have to say that I love the combination of Micro-traxion and Gri-Gri for anything climbing/photo related (and it's easy to have in the bag at all times, given the gri-gri is in there already).

Interesting about the micro-traxion...what's the advantage over an ascender+grigri setup do you think?

It's tiny so can stay in the bag at all times (for sport climbing my gri-gri will always be in there too).

I've used it for hauling up a bag of kit once in position as well which adds a bit of confidence over hand-over-handing a bag of £££(£) gear.
