Title: Simpson Campus Article on Moonclimbing
Post by: unclesomebody on October 30, 2005, 06:25:21 pm
Mr 9a himself is giving away his secrets over at the moon site. In it he´s detailed campus training along with advice on power training.  Also included is a sample session program, so all you have to do is follow the easy steps and you´ll soon be a beast.

now that summer´s over, get over to the moon site, get psyched, and get down the board!  :8)

All the evidence (9a's etc.) seems to suggest otherwise, but for some inexplicable reason I just can't bring myself to trust this man's advice:

Am I meant to understand this, or am I being dense? (now there's a horrible thought).

I did the workout on Tuesday night.

It's not that much different to what my normal campus session looked like, but I found that I needed to increase the rest intervals in order to maintain good form.

I had never done the 1-4-3-4-3-4-3-4 exercise before, but found it was really good.  I also added 1-4-2-4-2-4-2-4-1 to the end of the session, which again felt good.

been there done that, though found i was somewhat sapped after having "warmed up" for an hour and a half on the 50 dgree board. know what your sayin about those rest intervals. if you can't do 1 4 7, in the laddrey bit best effort try to maintain 1 3 6. its harder than 1 4 6. who the fuck am i to talk!
