I went to the foundry yesterday, and had a good session on the wave, but what is going on with the woody?
Last time I checked it out (maybe 2 years ago) it was twice as big and didn't have that 15degree part on the right (which I didn't think was much good).
Also it looks like a lot of holds have been taken off the remaining barrel.
I heard two people talking about an extension of the wave that would go round towards the blue slab on the left. Is this true?
Thanks,
Ned

why didn't you ask at reception, or the people who were talking.

As i work there i can let you know.
The 45 degree board had to go unfortionatly to make way for a fire escape which used to go where the 15 degree board is now.
The wave is getting extended either this winter or spring, depending when we have the money. Where the old slab (blue) is 3 lines are being removed, we reckon that there will be 50% more bouldering, same featured style, not sure what the angles will be yet though.

you know how the 45 degree board has gone, and you're extending the wave, and the woody is being demolished at the edge... you should get all their customerrs by putting some boards out. just a thought.

a few of us are sticking up some boards about 5 minutes away...

has the foundry bouldering been finished, or is it just half a wave?
-
No sign of the new bouldering yet. I think they are planning on doing it in the spring, I guess they are waiting for the winter busy months to pay for it.

'Shoulders Bentley' is actually a very nice man when you get to know him, and not at all scary.

Seems to me that if the 15 degree board was a metre taller it would be pretty good for training. It's just a bit too short ATM.
I notice you lot aren't getting very excited about the new top-roping slab above the boys' bogs
