Off to North Wales for a week this evening and am keen to get the kids climbing for at least one afternoon.
Does anyone have any tips on good sport crags I can set up a few top ropes that are kid friendly (they are 9 and 6). Camping near Llandudno so local to that would be ideal.
Any help/info much appreciated!
(I have Pete's Lime Guide and the OG NW Rock (Green one))

Castle Inn Quarry or Penmaenhead would probably fit the bill especially the former.

Says in the guide you can't top out at CIQ, so might be hard to set up ropes unless leading.
Would toproping some trad routes not be easier? I thought easy sport would be good for our kids, but even the 4s and 5s at Kirriehill which are a series of blocky mantels are hard if you are only 4ft.

Castle Inn has some nice shorter, easier routes. Some of which you could possibly rig from the top, not sure? It's a nice open spot though with views.

That looks ideal.
