Title: Fionnay - what's the deal with access and is there any sort of topo
Post by: honroid on January 22, 2022, 08:37:35 pm
Trying to put together summer plans and thinking of visiting a friend in Cham and some high altitude French and Swiss granite. I've climbed a fair amount in Magic Wood, Cresciano, over in Austria but never been over toward Fionnay, Plex, Brione or Cham.

I know there's a topo for Cham and potentially a recent update, I think I've ruled out Brione as only the riverside boulders are open in the summer (we have two under 5s in tow) and I know it's only around 700m too.

Fionnay is appealing but I don't want to take a family there is access is dodgy and it would be helpful to have a topo.

Anyone got any beta or know who I could get in touch with?

If anyone is interested I Fionnay I contacted a few people on Instagram to get some info. There's a topo available on the Bimano app for a couple of quid.

Nils Favre has put a few things on 27crags and reckons he's going to get a topo out sometime next year
