Has anyone got any experience using wireless headphones, particularly when climbing?
My current wired pair are playing up so I'll need something new soon and after a wall session today I thought wireless ones might be a good option. Leaving my phone in the side of a chalk bucket whilst listening to music without having to worry about getting tangled in wires or my phone falling out of my pocket seemed like a good idea.
Also for circuit/finger board sessions when the wall music is a bit shit.
I'd appreciate any thoughts as I've never used them before and wouldn't know what to look for / what to budget.
Cheers

That thread seems mostly to be fiend wanting to avoid the above option of phone + wireless tho..
I've had these bad boys for about a year now:

I use them all the time in the gym, occasionally climbing outdoors, occasionally on the wall, exactly as you say with phone in chalk bag pocket - really helped me focus when I did a comp season last year.. I've also used them for running, cos unlike fiend I can hold my phone in my hand!
They're expensive but it's decent quality sound and I have no problems with drop-off with the blu-tooth; they have a range of maybe 30ft with direct line of sight - they don't fall out too easily, altho inevitably get dislodged occasionally..
I like 'em
