Myself and a friend/climbing partner are looking into the feasability of opening a new dedicated climbing facility in the South Essex area. Below is a questionnaire designed to gauge the level of interest and gather opinions from the wider climbing community. We're hoping this will help make our dream a reality. This survey is aimed at all climbers, not just those of the intended area or a particular climbing level.
We can't do this without the help and ideas of you guys, so please, if you can spare the time to fill in our short form, we would be truly grateful.

We would like to thank-you in advance for your participation,

Hi There,
if you need any support, let us know we have had a wall up and running for over a year now, it was set up by Hampshire police and its being run by Hi ROCK.
i have been climbing for over 20 years but i still had a lot to learn about opening a wall.
drop me a email if you wish
Cheers
Pete

Just a couple things to note about your survey.
Question 3. I do not earn money from climbing, so would not consider myself professional nor semi professional, but in terms of my climbing ability I generally climb the top end problems in the walls I visit, so do not feel that qualifies me as a intermediate climber.
Question 4. There is no option for climbers who use indoor walls 4, 5 or 6 days a week.

I agree with Luke's comments. I'm not an intermediate but I don't get no silver from my efforts.

You are the definitive ex-spurt Ali.

You are the definitive ex-spurt Ali.
Surely it would be better just to define us by the grade we climb, no? :tumble:

You'd think but that ain't the Essex way. It's all about labels and names innit. :)
