Fowler is a complete wad, still out there getting shit done in the best style. Reading Extreme Rock (I love that pic of him on Caveman in EBs and Whillans harness...) and his autobiography when I was a teenager resulted in him becoming my hero (at the time some of the cool lads in the climbing club had told me Ben Moon was the best, once I climbed caveman I changed my mind, sorry Ben)

For me he is the epitome of what a British climber should be (with the exception of not quite enough grit bouldering...)
