First of all, I would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused to whoever next does Rubicon at Rubicon.
I dogged up the route a bunch of times, kept greasing out off the top out easy moves and took some massive whippers on the third bolt.
I didn't manage to get the draw back off the third bolt, because I didn't manage to top out and clip the chains at the end of the day.
I do not know the full history of the draw, as it belongs to the university climbing club.
I have taken loads of falls on it, inside and outside though.
It should be safe for a few more, there isn't any abrasion on the webbing, and the gates look in reasonable knick.
If you manage to get it down, you can either keep it or I will buy it back off you for a couple pints or some money.
If you want a catch for the day this weekend, and don't mind helping me get it back; that would be even better.
Let me know either way, so I can replace it.
Cheers
Simon
