Only been once Spring 2018 and there was a tarp and at least 5 pads!
With the 3 we'd carried out we could just about cover the whole floor.

It’s probably worth warning that it is far from the perma dry venue that it is touted to be in some places. When we were there lots of the problems were affected to varying degrees by seepage and/or run off.
That said, it allowed climbing on a day of virtually continuous rain, and it’s worth going just for the otters.

I’ve been around Fort William all week and it’s rained every day. Yesterday was unbelievable. Never seen so much water running off the mountains and the weather was coming from the west. I’ve never been to Arisaig but it’d have to be the most perma-dry venue in the world to be dry at the moment.

Tarp and 4 or 5 pads there in August. I got a spanking too. If you find my pride laying in tatters on the floor could you scoop it up and pop it in the post to me?

Didnt make it in the end, too much work and not enough will. But Swiss Michi went. Reports back that the stash is still in place; all problems dry apart from a few near the entrance (Triangulation, west wall arete, otter watch, all the small things, and lend an ear); everything was nails but he had a great time. It must be pretty watertight after all. At least your pride wont have been dampened Andy.
