Title: Nesscliffe - Sally's Garden?
Post by: andy popp on February 05, 2015, 10:03:42 am
Any Ness locals? Wondering if anyone's been to Sally's Garden in the last couple of days? It's a bit of a drive so want to know it's dry, rather than a hopeful prediction.

It's quite a new bit in the woods near the car park at the far left hand end. A very nice looking slabby wall with a 6A, a 6B+ and two good looking 7As. I tried going just after Christmas but it was gopping.

Sorry, nothing to add in terms of whether it'll be dry or not but just for interest...

I stumbled across this place last year quite by accident. Nice looking problems!

My video above doesn't really do the problems justice as there are great holds, slopers, pockets etc. on the wall. It's a cracking little outcrop.

The day I went there I spent a long time cleaning the thing up though, and it was a very windy day which helped. If you're travelling far I'd probably leave it until the weather warms up or the wind picks up.
