Hit me with the info yo. How has it been up there and will it be worth a visit tomorrow??
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/yh/leeming_forecast_wind.html (http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/yh/leeming_forecast_wind.html) forecast shows heavy shower this afternoon then dry and sunny tomorrow but am concerned about lack of wind . Ideally I'd like it to be utterly freezing and so dry that birds are falling out of the sky as their bodies dessicate and freeze, wishful thinking I know...

Even with no wind Slipstones dries superquick, esecially if sun is out. May not all be totally dry; cracks stay damp (bit who wants to climb them) and a few persistent water streaks, (notably on Ripper) but more than enough to be going on with.

Slipstones sounds tempting... but you can get a wee dribble of seepage in some places.. Though I suspect it'll be fine.. I was thinking of giving Almscliff a bash tomorrow PM - its usally the quickest drying beast around... got to figure out how to bunk off work first...
:)

Most of it should be fine. Saturday looks better though

Any last minute weather/wind beta from the Yorkshire massive?
-
Dry roads and light cloud in leeds, quite warm, no wind - should be good up there I reckon, if a little damp in places.

Dry and intermittantly sunny near York, providing it doesn't rain again it'll be okay. I was there midweek the day after some showers and it was dry other than some seepage streaks on layby/rock-on and in the stipule area. Might not be cold enough for you though.
