Few of us south westerners were planning a day trip to the peak tomorrow, but overnight weather now seams to have us twitching.
What/where are our chances of the hefty drive being worth it? Anyone local know how much snow is likely to fall overnight - and will it be so much that everything is just soaked all day tomorrow?

Im going to head out in a minute to check out Rubicon and X and maybe the Tor.
Its snowing here in Sheffield at the minute and if you take a look here https://twitter.com/northlees/status/797347981959761920/video/1 its pretty grim on the Eastern Edges. Looks like a nice day tomorrow but anything with run off or out of the sun will be rubbish
Not sure what to suggest.

Fark. Weather down here looks pants for tomorrow too
The plastic is calling... :boohoo:

Crag X was dry though top bulges starting to seep. Didn't have time to pop into Rubicon. Guess it would have been good too. Drizzling a bit on way back.
Who knows about tomorrow but would guess some lime will be good

The grit was looking promising at last light. Very little snow left, lower/ sunnier grit edges dry. Depends what happens tonight, I'm guessing a frost then a little snow.
