They need to do something. It's a great place, but stepping in there feels like entering an early 90s time warp.

It was though. Remember Alien 1 was only the 4th dedicated wall built in the UK. Built by an unskilled bunch of 20 somethings on redundancy money sleeping in the old sauna (it was f'ing uncomfortable) and making it up as we went. By the time A2 was started, they'd learned a bit (and I had a real job on the other side of the planet) but it was still all new.
The problem is, once you've sunk your money into something, it's bloody hard to arrange enough capital to re-invent/design/update (especially when the Gov sink £M's into a massive competitor just down the road). So it takes years (decades) to put together something new.
I might head up with a sleeping bag (and a camp bed this time) just for old times sake...
